Help Beth study violin at master’s level in Canada

Hello, my name is Beth McAlister - a violinist from Scotland currently coming to the end of my undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music. I have been offered a place to study a master’s degree in Montreal, Canada at McGill university.

This would be an experience with limitless opportunities and would be an absolute dream for me to be able to attend the course and experience living in the beautiful city.

The cost of the course per year is £13000 for a 2 year course. Any funds that I receive will be used towards the cost of the course for the first year, and hopefully towards the second year of the course too.

Playing the violin has always been such a big part of my life and it is my aspiration to develop my career as a musician playing in professional orchestras, making chamber music and spreading musical joy to as many people as I can!

It would be devastating to have to turn down my place due to not having the finances myself as a student to cover the course fees and if I am able to go then I am beyond excited to make new memories and to learn as much as I can both musically and in life experience.
