McGill Trumpet Ensemble competition funding!

We are the McGill Trumpet Ensemble, and we are a group of McGill University students looking for donations to help us travel to the American National Trumpet Competition (NTC) and the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) Competition. We have spent the last two semesters preparing for our performances at these competitions, and we recently found out that we have qualified for the next round of competition for both NTC and ITG!

Unfortunately, the travel costs to get to Boulder, Colorado and Minneapolis, Minnesota will be quite expensive. The flights will cost at least $600 per person for each competition, and we will also have to pay for accommodation and conference registration. Competing in these events will allow us to compete on an international stage, meet other trumpet students and professionals, and have the experience of a lifetime. Every little donation will help us get one step closer to attending these competitions, and maybe even bringing home a prize!

Our current budget is:

$2274 for airfare to Boulder, Colorado

$2752 for hotel costs in Boulder

$3402 for airfare to Minneapolis, Minnesota

$2774.10 for hotel costs in Minneapolis

$606.36 for registration for ITG
