McGraw Odyssey of the Mind Problem 3 State Champs! (#15883)

This great crew of McGraw Elementary 5th graders are State champions, and they are raising money to benefit their travel to Iowa State University in May of 2024 for the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals competition!

Their team took 1st place at their Colorado State competition in early April, and they are now invited to compete against teams from over 30 states and 15 countries. Funds raised will be divided among team members for lodging, travel, and living expenses during the 4-day long tournament. Thank you for considering supporting these wonderful kids!

Colorado Odyssey, Inc is a creative problem solving program for kids K-College. Odyssey of the Mind teams choose one long term problem to solve. In the process of solving their problem, children learn to think outside the box, work together to develop creative solutions to broadly defined problems, and present their solution in an 8 minute performance. Teams are rewarded for not just solving the problem, but for enhancing their solution with style and teams compete in an on-the-spot spontaneous problem as part of the competition.
