Heidi’s Heroes

Hi everyone!

my name is Shannon Whaley, and I am starting this campaign on behalf of my and your precious friend, Heidi Budd. I’ve had trouble finding my words for just how amazing of a human she is! She is a wonderful friend, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and just everything to those who love her. She has maybe the kindest soul I’ve ever known. She has a servant’s heart, and a brilliant mind for accounting. She has also served her faith family and her daughter’s school (also her alma mater) with such dedication over decades. Our sweet Heidi over the Christmas holiday learned the news that everyone fears. She has breast cancer. And though she has planned so well with her accounting brain the family finances over the years, we all know that cancer doesn’t care about that, and deductibles can be financially crippling for families at a time when all they should have to think of is their health and being with their loved ones. If you are able, please consider a contribution on her behalf to lessen the burden of treatment so she can focus on healing and her family!
