In Loving Memory of Tommy McDaniel

It is with great sorrow in our hearts to say that Thomas “Tommy” McDaniel has passed away tragically and unexpectedly. Tommy was an amazing and loving son, brother, friend, and devoted “dog dad” to his sweet dog, Miller. His loss is felt immensely and he will be remembered forever. Since the age of 5 years old he wanted to be a U.S. Marine. He enlisted in 2014 and served overseas in Operation Inherent Resolve until he was honorably discharged in 2018 from injuries that he sustained during combat. Tommy was a faithful Christian man and would help anyone in need. He was the type of person that made you feel good from just talking to him. He stood up for what he believed in and he sacrificed his life for his country. His innate desire to help others continued even through his death as he was an organ donor and because of his life, others have now been given another chance. Tommy was a selfless hero and he will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. There’s no telling how many lives have been bettered because of him.

A small portion of his funeral costs are covered by the USDVA but his family is left to pay for the rest. Everything raised will be given to his parents to help alleviate some of that financial strain. Every penny is appreciated.
