Remembering McKayla Wilson

Donation protected
On Tuesday, April 26th, McKayla Wilson was rushed to the hospital with bacterial meningitis. On Saturday afternoon she was pronounced brain dead and gave the ultimate gift of life by donating her organs in the days after. This campaign will help the family of McKayla with any hospital-related bills due to multiple days in the PICU, multiple tests the were run many times, and any other medical-related costs. This will also help with cemetery and headstone costs and any other miscellaneous fees that come from this sudden tragic loss.

McKayla Wilson, 12, of Rossville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 30, 2022. She was an active member of the First Baptist Fort Oglethorpe Youth Group. McKayla loved to swim, cook, make slime, play the saxophone, being goofy and making others laugh. She had a very big heart and loved her family more than anything. She was a loving big sister to both of her brothers. She was a loyal and loving friend to many people. She attended Lakeview Middle School and was in the 7th grade. She never met a stranger and was always happy to help someone in need. McKayla was very encouraging to others in leading them to Christ.

Survivors include her father, Michael Wilson; mother, Ella Moore; step-father, Josh Moore; step-mother, Rebecca N. Wilson brothers, Elijah Moore and Kaizer Wilson; grandparents, Randy and Trisha Wilson and Billy and Theresa Bost.
