McKee Family NICU and Funeral Fund
Donation protected
*UPDATE*
We are heartbroken to announce that Elijah Hayes passed away on Tuesday, April 18. Sweet Eli was born at 1lbs and 11oz on Saturday, April 15, along with his twin Noah (3 lbs 3 oz). Our family is devastated. Michelle and Kibbles now have to face funeral costs for their son who left us entirely too soon. Michelle is still healing from her C-section and Noah is still fighting in the NICU. Kibbles drives back and forth everyday. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone!
A lot of you have been asking how you can help support the McKee Family during this time. On Good Friday, Michelle went to the ER due to pain caused by an infection. She had no idea when she arrived, both her own health and her pregnancy were at risk and she would not be going home. Michelle was transferred to UT and has been there since. In order to keep Michelle healthy and deliver the babies safely, the doctors have advised the babies will need to be delivered early. At 29-30 weeks, this means they will likely spend several weeks/months receiving the care they need in the NICU.
As you can imagine, this will take a huge financial toll on the McKee family. Daily trips to and from the NICU, time spent in the hospital, time off of work, meals in transit, etc. In an effort to alleviate some of that burden, we have pulled together this GoFundMe that will go directly to Michelle and Kibbles to cover costs related to their hospital stay and transportation costs so they can focus on the heath and care of their family.
We appreciate any amount you can contribute!
Thank you,
