**Family Reunion 2026 **
Hello, family!
The year 2026 will mark our next family reunion, and we’ve decided to take the initiative to host it this time around. We all had a fantastic time at the last gathering, and it’s a special occasion where we can come together as one big family. ❤️
To ensure this event goes smoothly, we kindly ask for your contributions. If you are a child or grandchild of the Mackenzie or Ottey families and are over 18 years old and working, we would appreciate your support.
For those living in Jamaica, we ask for a contribution of **$10,000 Jamaican dollars**, and for those overseas, the contribution is **$100.00 US dollars**. If you're bringing your husband or plus one, the contribution for that person is **$50.00 US dollars**, provided they are also over 18 years old. If you’re a direct family member unable to attend, we still hope for your support.
You might be thinking, "I thought you weren't asking for much." This is indeed a modest request, and we trust that everyone will do their best to contribute. Over the next two years, setting aside **$10,000 Jamaican dollars** or **$100.00 US dollars** is quite achievable—just save **$1,000** or **$10** per month, and you’ll reach your goal without any stress!
Our aim is for everyone to enjoy the day without worries. We plan to collect contributions early, so there's no need for concern. The deadline for submissions is **March 31st, 2025**.
Here’s a quick rundown of why we need these contributions:
- We need to buy food and cook for everyone.
- We need to rent a venue.
- We need to hire essentials like gazebos and chairs for the elderly, a bouncy castle for the kids, and we’ll also be providing drinks and other necessities.
Keep this in mind, as we will be reaching out to each family member for their contributions.
This effort is not just to cover costs; it’s about coming together to create beautiful memories, allowing our grandparents to see each other and watch their grandchildren play. It’s a chance for cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives to reconnect after years apart.
Let’s carry on the legacy!
Looking forward to an unforgettable reunion!
