For six years, we have traveled all over the US following McKenzie on her track journey. Anyone who has followed our pages knows we are always traveling somewhere to watch her run. It has taken every penny we have, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We come to you now after a historic performance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and on the precipice of her Olympic hopes and dreams, and to be honest, we need a little help getting to these once-in-a-lifetime events. With the recent passing of Kenzie’s mom, we find an even greater need to be present to provide Kenzie support and encouragement.
Between event tickets, flights, hotels, transportation, food, and other expenses, the costs are more than we have left. Olympic Trials are in Eugene, Oregon June 21-30. Based on the events she runs and the Trials schedule, she will participate throughout the entire 10 days.
The 2024 Olympics are in Paris, France. The Track and Field (Athletics) competitions are August 2-9. In all transparency, she may not make the team; however, the timeline of events requires us to prepare ahead of time for all possibilities.
No matter what happens, we will be celebrating Kenzie and all of her track and field collegiate and potential Olympic accomplishments.
