UPDATE:
SHE DID IT!!! Kenzie is going to the Paris Olympics 2024 representing Team USA in the 200m!!!!

Her event dates in the Track and Field (Athletics) competitions are August 4-6, so time is of the essence in making travel arrangements.

You all have gone above and beyond to get us where we have been in supporting Kenzie’s journey. This is the last step! ❤️
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
McKenzie Long started her track journey in Ironton, Ohio where she ran middle school track at Ironton Middle School.
Kenzie attended Hamilton Township High School in Columbus, Ohio where she is the current record holder in the 60m, 100m, and 200m dash.
Kenzie finished her high school track career at Pickerington High School Central in Columbus, Ohio where she continues to hold the records in the 60m, 100m and 200m dash.
Kenzie began her collegiate track career at NC State where she is the current record holder in the 200m dash. At North Carolina State, McKenzie earned two bachelor's degrees before transferring to Ole Miss where she earned a master's degree in criminal justice.
Kenzie’s post-graduate years have been spent running for Ole Miss where she is a 3x school record holder in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay. McKenzie is also the 2024 NCAA Outdoor National Champion in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100 relay earning her the Triple Crown. She currently holds the world lead in the 200m with a time of 21.83.  While at Ole Miss, Kenzie has earned All-American honors in both the indoor and outdoor season both athletically and academically. For six years, we have traveled all over the US following McKenzie on her track journey. Anyone who has followed our pages knows we are always traveling somewhere to watch her run. It has taken every penny we have, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We come to you now after a historic performance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and on the precipice of her Olympic hopes and dreams, and to be honest, we need a little help getting to these once-in-a-lifetime events. With the recent passing of Kenzie’s mom, we find an even greater need to be present to provide Kenzie support and encouragement.
Between event tickets, flights, hotels, transportation, food, and other expenses, the costs are more than we have left. Olympic Trials are in Eugene, Oregon June 21-30. Based on the events she runs and the Trials schedule, she will participate throughout the entire 10 days.
The 2024 Olympics are in Paris, France. The Track and Field (Athletics) competitions are August 2-9. In all transparency, she may not make the team; however, the timeline of events requires us to prepare ahead of time for all possibilities.
No matter what happens, we will be celebrating Kenzie and all of her track and field collegiate and potential Olympic accomplishments.
