Help Bring My Brother Back Home

Hi, My name is Sadia. I am raising money for a cause that, if I know people didn’t hear the whole story, wouldn’t be comfortable to help out but please asking for a moment of your time to read this and consider helping a family out in need of all the support possible. Raising money for my brother, who has been in jail for about two months now, my brother always has been the type of person who helps out anyone in need no matter how long he has known them; a good trait to have, but because of this, he got stuck in a situation with the wrong people. I am setting up this fund to help my brother come back home, and I will be honest about why he is in jail because I don’t want to raise money in dishonesty; his reason for being in there involved drugs. We come from a good family. My parents came to this country from Pakistan to give their kids a better life. My brother always worked hard for my parents; his only wish was to build a high income to support himself and our parents. I have seen him struggle many times, but he always pushed himself out of his rut. Lately, things have been tough. My mom got shoulder surgery right before all this happened, and the recovery time is 6-9 months, my dad is a heart patient and has arthritis which makes it difficult for him to work, but he still does, even with his age to support us. My brother thought trusting some people because they promised him cash in return would help him but instead left us with significant stress and mental and financial drainage. We have used credit cards and every bit of cash we had for lawyer fees, and now everything is getting out of hand money-wise for his case, and I am asking for help in a way I never thought I would have to. I am creating this fund to help raise money for my brother’s case only because my only priority is getting my brother out so my parents can be happy again. Seeing my parents every day in stress, struggle, and sadness, knowing their son is in a jail cell, breaks my heart. Family has helped a lot, but there’s only so much family members can do. I’m trying to reach the public now because I am desperate for help. Anyone who knows my family and me well and who knows my brother knows that he was never involved in anything like this. He always put his family first, he was the type of person who, no matter what he was going through, would help someone who needed him and now, on his behalf, I am asking everyone and anyone who reads that now he needs our help to come back home to his parents and family. No amount is too low; every dollar added is just one step closer to bringing my brother back home. (Any extra funds that are not used towards my brother’s case will be donated to a charitable cause)
