McKinley’s Open Heart Surgery Expenses

update: We have arrived and it looks like out stay here will be about 7 day. We had budgeted for 3-4… so I’m here asking if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Mondays hotel was $180

meals ( $80for the day)

Tuesday $62

meals (for the day $80)

Wednesday Free

meal ( for the day $80)

Thursday $110( with discount)

meals (for the day $80)

Friday $110( with discount)

meals (for the day $80)

Saturday $110(with discount)

1 free meal ( $40 for rest meals)

As most of you have heard McKinley our 4yr old god child that lives with us has to have open heart surgery on January 24th….Brittany (her mom) has been doing great and is hunting down work since she’s been home but as most of you know it’s the end of the year and finding work is slow and our location out here isn’t the greatest job wise until the new year start which is some what of a good thing being she needs to be able to be here for McKinley… we will be making our way at way to Oschner’s New Orleans bright and early January 23rd to be there by noon to start all the tests… ( she has like 5 afternoon appointments for different things) I plan to be there to help both of them for a few day… do keep in mind we are a family of 11 holding it together on 1 income currently… just taking it one day at a time… hopefully it doesn’t take too many days and she recovers fast and can be discharged home …but we will need extra funds for as we don’t know what the future holds for fuel , place to stay ( the hotel offers $60 a night stay next door and 2nd free ) meals and Im sure many extra things will come up along the way (most hospitals stays last 3-4 days). If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any question which I’m sure many ppl will please contact me…. We are a family that never ask for much but we know these extra expenses are unaccounted for in our monthly budget and could use some extra help. thanks Cassandra
