McMahon Family House Fire
On 7/9/21 the McMahon family suffered an unimaginable tragedy. Captain Danny McMahon was on shift at the firehouse and his wife Caryn was out with the family. Captain McMahon received word that his house was on fire and raced to the scene while calling his wife to assure the safety of his family. This fire spread rapidly and caused extreme damage to the home. Thankfully his family is ok, but the house is a total loss.
Danny has 15 years in the fire service to include full time employment at the National Institutes of Health Fire Department and La Plata Volunteer Fire Department, while Caryn is a Maryland State Fire Marshal and a member of Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department. The McMahon family which includes, Danny, Caryn, and his children Dillion, Danny Jr, Kayla, And David. All the children are under the age of 10.
