McMullen House Fire

Harvey and Courtney McMullen are two of the most selfless people I have ever had the privilege of calling friends. It is not uncommon for them to reach into their own pockets to help someone in need, or to jump in and help fulfill a need. Whether it is a friend, student, employee or our church/church family they are always there with servants' hearts.

They are the kind of friends that pull your well motor in the middle of a winter snow storm or put a roof on your house when the ceilings start springing major leaks. They are the kind of friends that rush in and wrap their arms around you when everything is falling apart.

In 2020 I decided to help a friend after they had suffered a house fire. When I went to my church family with my idea Courtney and Harvey never batted an eye. For the following 5 months Courtney, Harvey and their 3 children (Hunter, Jayden and Clayton) were by my side every single step of the way as we spent countless hours building the inside of this home and getting this family back under a roof of their own.

Friends, today I come to you because these cherished friends that have always given so much to others could now use being loved on themselves. Friday night, December 8th, the McMullen family lost their home, belongings and pet cat to a house fire. I am confident in the days and weeks to come their insurance carrier will work out the major details, but I am focused more on immediate needs...... Food, clothing, essentials, room and board etc This is a terrible loss any time of year, but so much more heartbreaking 2 weeks before Christmas. Courtney had already completed Christmas shopping for her children, and it has all been lost as well.

Please consider helping me provide some immediate relief and give this family a little bit of normalcy and cheer through the holidays. I dont know a family more deserving!
