McMurdy family to fight Brain Cancer

Hi, my name is Heather and I am fundraising to help out my father Bruce, and his wife Janice (my mom), to expedite her treatment for recovery. Janice was diagnosed with brain cancer very suddenly at the end of November. She wasn’t feeling well and started stumbling into walls where she went to the hospital and they immediately suggested she go into surgery on November 23 at this time they had performed emergency brain surgery and caught the cancer at a stage four the $1 million surgery was successful and she came out a trooper with no pain medication by the way. After a lengthy hospital stay, she moved on to a rehabilitation facility and then she went home since then. There has been a lot of bloodwork, follow ups, radiation, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and doctor visits. If you know, Janice, you know she is very strong minded and a fighter. She started walking very quickly, more than most 81 years old would determined to get back to normal to be able to be released home! However, Janice is suffering from vision loss from the lobe operated on: affecting her safety with walking. She has hair loss from the radiation and speech impairment which requires ongoing specialist treatments. If you know my father, you know that he has a very hard time asking for help, but with the bills rolling in it has just become too much too fast expense wise but the major emergency is the Cancer institution will not start her treatment for the next phase which is similar to chemo but it’s not chemo without a deposit of $4900 for the year, and as Janice has worked so hard to get this far we don’t want the cancer to get the best of our family and would like her to start this treatment right away so it doesn’t destroy anymore of her than it already has. The treatment is two medication’s for a year it energizes your cells to destroy cancer cells, unlike chemo, which destroys all cells! Any contribution will be much appreciated to relieve the burden of this huge expense on one person my dad please share this with family, friends, coworkers, or any associates and acquaintances of the Mcmurdy family
