Kyle's Pituitary Tumor Treatment

My name is Kyle McNeil, some folks might know me as McNastybones, and in April 2013 I found out I have a benign brain tumor called a prolactinoma, and I will probably have it for the rest of my life.This little bastard sits on my pituitary gland and messes it all up. It reduces the secretion of testosterone, you know, that stuff that makes a man a man, and increases the secretion of prolactin, the hormone that makes pregnant ladies (and unfortunate prolactinoma sufferers like me) get milky boobies. There's plenty of other unfortunate side effects that totally blow, like depression, gynecomastia (man boobs) and other such things, you can read more about prolactinomas here. 

Why am I asking for money?

For one, I am too poor to even qualify for the Affordable Care Act, so I am insured under my mom's plan through her work. This insurance is useless though, until I hit the 5,000 dollar mark on my deductible. My medication for three months is $1,200 dollars. The MRI's I need are even more than that. I need specialist visits, lab work, and a whole slew of medical expenses that incur fairly regularly. I'm a full time college student with a part time job, and these expenses are just too much for me and my family.

The last thing I wanted to do was to go on the internet and ask for money, but as all other routes have failed me thus far, I would rather do that than go back to what my life was like before the treatment. 

This won't be just a handout, though. I have plenty of skills which you may find useful, I can write, draw, paint, play music, sculpt, whatever. If you do something for me, I want to give back.
