MCR Marathon in aid of brain tumour research
Hi everyone, my name is Amber and on the 14th April, I will be running the Manchester Marathon in aid of brain tumour research.
This is a charity very close to my heart. In June 2020, my lifelong best friend Kristin was diagnosed with a brain tumour at 18 years old. At age 21, she continues to live with a brain tumour due to it returning last year. Her strength and positive outlook throughout this entire journey has made myself and everybody that knows her immensely proud. She truly is an inspiration to us all.
Brain Tumour Research is dedicated to raising funds for continuous and sustainable scientific research into brain tumours. Every two hours, somebody is diagnosed with a brain tumour in England. In the UK, 16,000 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour every year. Please help me in raising funds for this amazing charity and ‘together, we will find a cure’.
Any donations, no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
