Parker Robertson's Medical Expenses

Parker Robertson is a very bright 5 year old who I have the privilege of having in my Kindergarten class this year. Two weeks ago Parker spent a week in University Hospital in San Antonio and was diagnosed with Leukodystrophy. Leukodystrophy is a group of rare diseases that affect the Central Nervous System and Peripheral Nervous System by destroying the myeline (the white brain matter that protects and insulates the axons). Leukodystrophy will cause cognitive impairment and loss of motor and speech skills. His vision is already being affected. This disease can progress fast. The family will be traveling to Minnesota this weekend to meet with one of the only doctors that actually tries to treat this horrible disease. They will be there at least 5 days. I have set up this account with permission from the family to help aid in the costs of airfare, hotel, food, and medical bills. Any amount, $5, $10, will help!!
