The Steele City youth football team really needs our community help!
It's that time of year that we are fortunate enough to be invited to play in the national championship game in Plant City Florida from December 1-10th 2023. Due to unforseen circumstances, our 15 passenger van was stolen. When it was finally recovered, due to the damage and missing parts, our insurance company totalled it out and paid it off. It left us with nothing, no way to transport our players to/from games, to/from mentoring programs and to/from tutoring sessions. We have been trying to raise enough money to get a van to get our kids/ equipment to/from Florida and to make sure they will have food and housing in Florida but it is impossible without our community help. Anything helps.... Monetary donations, food donations and transportation.
Donations can also be dropped off in person at First Federal Savings of Lorain, use Steele City youth football mentorship program.
