I am Dr. Afia, a passionate advocate for Black-owned businesses and a proud scholar with a Ph.D. in Black Studies. I have dedicated my life to celebrating the rich diversity of the African diaspora through sharing high-quality content focused on food, travel, and unique experiences. I have been blessed to build an incredibly supportive community on social media and today, I come to you with exciting news and a humble request for your support.

I'm thrilled to announce that I have been nominated for the prestigious Career Professional of the Year VICtor Award by the Black Travel Summit!

This summit offers Black professionals in the travel industry a platform for learning, networking, and celebrating our achievements. The VICtor Awards is a groundbreaking initiative by the Black Travel Summit aimed at recognizing outstanding individuals in the Black travel space. These awards celebrate persistence, influence, and the achievements of exceptional black trailblazers in the travel industry, so I am incredibly honored to be included in the nominees.
