Beat cancer and get back living my best life

Hello My name is Jason,

Once again I find myself fighting cancer. First colon cancer in 2017 then Parotid gland Cancer in 2023.

In October of 2022 a tumor was found on my Parotid gland. After many Dr's appointments and several trips to UCLA in CA the tumor was removed and a Biopsy came back as Acinic cell carcinoma. I then had radiation therapy to try and kill any cancer cells that remain. I was out of work for 13 weeks. Thankfully I was able to return to work for a short period of time. Now the cancer has returned. I have facial nerve paralysis that effects my ability to eat and close my right eye and I'm no longer able to safely drive a commercial vehicle. As of now my 18 year driving career seems to be over. I'm scheduled for another surgery on December 18, I was told I can't receive anymore radiation and there is no immune therapy treatment option available because my cancer is rare. My only option (that I've found) is to try and get in on a trial treatment. I reached out to MD Anderson cancer center in Houston TX. They are willing to help and I have an appointment for December 5th- They need me to stay for 5 days for testing. I don't know if they will be able to help or not but it seems like my best option. I'm not afraid of dying, I'm afraid of spending a ton of money chasing possible treatments and it not working , leaving Vicky holding the debt.

I'm trying to raise money for 2023 travel and medical costs already incurred and help with deductibles and travel costs into 2024. Any additional funds raised will be used to help offset my lost wages.

I'm now unemployed sick and totally dependent on family , friends and strangers for help.
