Help me compete for my country

Hi, my name is Melissa.

I am trying to raise funds to help me compete for my country both as an England team member and as a Great Britain team member in the sport of clay trap shooting.

It has always been my dream to compete for both Great Britain and England at the top level of my sport; last year I managed to fulfill my dream and I competed for both England and Great Britain and it was amazing! I competed in Italy at the UT World Championships as part of team GB where I finished 21st in Ladies. I gained Olympic Trap ladies runner up in the Home International for team England and then two weeks later I won the Automatic Ball Trap Ladies Home International title and the British Open ladies champion. This has made me even more driven to do my best and carry on competing in the sport I love.

This year I am once again trying to make both England and Great Britain teams and so far I have successfully been chosen to be part of the Great Britain Universal Trench team for the European Championship in Maribor (Slovenia) in June.

I am over the moon to have been selected for this compertion so early on in the season however, this comes with a fair few challenges and expenses. I need to raise money to help me with Flights, Accomadation, Food and Training: this is all very expensive. Last year was a year I won't forget anytime soon and I really want to build on it. So I am asking for your help however little or large, it will make a colossal difrence to me and will allow me enjoy the compertitions, instead of stressing about the finaces.

It takes a village to raise an athlete, and I am turning to my village now for support.
