Further My Education in Japan!

Hi, My name is Traydon and I currently attend Ball State University! I started this GoFundMe to ask for help in covering my expenses for studying abroad at Sapporo University in the Hokkaidou region of Japan. When I was in high school, I had the pleasure of meeting Japanese foreign exchange students who were attending my high school. Thanks to their influence, I became obsessed with Japanese culture and language. Once I began attending Ball State university, I started learning Japanese through attending courses and ended up working toward a Minor in Japanese. This year is my senior year, my last year of education, and I was blessed to meet and become good friends with Japanese exchange students here at Ball State! After a lot of thought I took the biggest leap of my life and talked to my Japanese professor about studying abroad in Japan this summer!

I am beyond excited to be able to have this life changing experience, and have been working on my Japanese and studying non-stop in preparation. In order to pay for my college experience/expenses as well of rent and bills, I have worked part time jobs on top of 16+ credit hours along with trying to learn a new language...Needless to say I have had an extremely busy 4 years here at Ball State, but am so thankful for all of the experiences I have had. Parallel to the stereo type, being an independent and self supporting college student is very expensive. This funding will help cover my tuition for both here and Sapporo University, as well as my daily living expenses/bills while I am in Japan.
