I need a little help to afford a surgery

Hi, my name is Linda.

Despite my initial protests, my beautiful daughter has talked me into setting up this “go fund me” page, to help me afford a much needed surgery on my voice.

I’m always happy to help but very reluctant to ask for it, for myself..

Those of you that know me, know that music and performing have been “my life” for decades.

I’ve worked hard and I have done all the training ect.

I was in excellent vocal health and enjoying the best voice of my life until I got Covid 19.

To cut a long story short; long covid killed my immunity and I caught a virus that has paralyzed the right side of my vocal folds,

making singing (as my career) almost impossible.

Fortunately, Voice Medicine Australia are on the case and have assured me they can help.

I have a long term (>12months) plan that includes vocal physio and rehab but this surgery is needed ASAP.

If you can spare a dollar or two to help me get my surgery, I would be forever grateful.
