Help me to build a rehab center for gulls in Oslo

Hi everyone, I am Marta and together with a little group of people from Måkevakta I am helping seagulls in Norway.

I have found a beautiful place and moved there to make a space for injured and sick gulls in Oslo.

Only in 2023 we have helped more than 200 birds, mostly seagulls and other waterbirds, but we have also some experience and space for crows.

At the moment we are taking care of more than 40 birds of 7 different species, mostly young gulls. We have a big aviary outside and two indoors enclosures: one for flying birds and one with a little swimming pool. We have also space for quarantine and birds that need special medical care.

We have been here in only three months and done a lot, but there is still more to do. Right now we are dealing with a cold winter and tons of snow. Electricity is very expensive, but we need that to provide light and warmer areas for the birds outside.

Other high costs here are bills for veterinarian, medicines, food and bedding.

I will be really thankful if you can support me and help to survive here in Norway.
