Help me raise funds for my training programme in Australia.

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jamie Dunk (aged 18). I'm aspiring to be an international professional cricketer. I currently play for Leicestershire CCC Academy, 2nd XI, Scotland U19s and Scotland 'A'.

I represented Scotland at the recent U19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, which was televised live on Sky Sports. At the tournament, I scored the most runs by a player from the UK and broke multiple records, including the most runs by a Scotland player at a Men's U19 World Cup, scoring 263 runs in 4 games at an average of 66 alongside securing a place in the Team of the Tournament.

Whilst in South Africa, I also had the opportunity to help coach and promote cricket to youngsters from various cultural backgrounds through the 'Cricket4Good' and ICC Outreach Programme. This was an experience that I relished and found very rewarding.

Since then, I have returned home to finish my education and complete my A-levels in mathematics, economics and business studies.

Next winter, I'm hoping to continue to pursue my dream of becoming a professional cricketer by flying out to Sydney, Australia to train on the International Cricket Programme and follow the footsteps of previous graduates of the programme such as Harry Brook, Ollie Pope and Jamie Smith.

Therefore, I am writing for a potential sponsorship to help fund the training programme which will allow me take my game to the next level and hopefully achieve my aspiration of becoming an international professional cricketer.

Why I need your help

There is no financial support available for young cricketers on the programme so I am therefore looking to raise £2000 to help with the costs associated with:

Travelling to Australia to play cricket in challenging conditions is a huge step any cricketer's career as it provides a perfect opportunity to train hard and focus on making a smooth transition into the senior professional game. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly help propel my career to the next level so I can be able to represent my country as a full international player in the near future. In doing so, I hope to inspire future generations of young cricketers.
