Help me repay a friend : Lucy’s emergency vet bill

I’m Jennifer. And I would have never hoped to be this position for multiple reasons.

Lucy had to have emergency surgery to remove a blockage from her belly. During surgery she aspirated stomach fluid into her lungs and now she’s in critical condition. Her oxygen alone is $885 dollars a day. We are sitting at $6,500. It’s been 3 days.

I know there is a lot going on in the world. But she is my world.

I taught her to talk with buttons. She high fives. She’s been there for me when I’ve felt entirely alone and I’m scared to go on without her. I need to give her my best shot to repay her.

I have a lot of feelings asking for help- but I love her so much. I am asking for her.
