Funeral and Memorial Expenses

My name is Matt Newbauer, and I I'm raising funds for funeral and memorial expenses of my stepmom, Dawn Newbauer. Dawn was a loving and selfless mother, taking my sister Renee and I in as her own children when we were very young. Dawn then gave birth to her sons Aaron and David, whom she cherished with every fiber of her being.

In the early morning of May 20th, Glynn County Police responded to a report of a gunshot wound victim at the Retreat Village shopping Center on St. Simon's Island, GA. When they arrived, they found Dawn had been shot and killed outside the restaurant she worked at after closing. She was assaulted and then shot, and she passed away on the scene. Dawn was 53 years-old.

While we're glad that the Glynn County Police has arrested the despicable perpetrator, we are now in a position as a family where we want to give Dawn the memorial she deserves. All of her kids are spread across the country. I live in Seattle, Renee lives in Dallas, and Dawn was from New Jersey. Unfortunately, Dawn did not have life insurance and she leaver behind her son David , 20, who is in college at Greensboro College, and her son Aaron, 27, of Brunswick along with Renee and me. We want to be able to celebrate the life of Dawn and show that no matter who evil the world is, the love that Dawn showed will live in forever in our hearts.
