Mead Family International Adoption Journey

Hello, if you don't know us our names are Nathan and Jackie, and we have started on our journey to adopt! (We're very excited).

For the first half dozen years of our marriage, Jackie struggled with endometriosis. We are very thankful that we were able to get surgery for her pain. However, biological children were virtually impossible before surgery and literally impossible after, so we've spent a good deal of time looking into how we should pursue adoption. After many years of praying and researching, we believe that God has opened the door for us to pursue international adoption through South America.

Adoption is a long and difficult process, but we trust that God will provide us with patience and fortitude. It is also an expensive journey, and again, we trust that God will provide and that it will be to His glory. For anyone curious about the process, any funds raised here will go to pay the fees of our Adoption agency, our home study, and the fees associated with any international endeavor (document translations, travel expenses, the Hague convention, etc).

We are very thankful and humbled to be among such generous people, and we can't express how much our hearts have longed for this, and how excited we are as we begin this next chapter in our life!
