Meadow Brook Stables

Hi,

My name is Leana Kennedy, I’m fund raising to help Meadow Brook Stables rebuild their indoor riding arena and foal turn out area that was lost in the hurricane. This building provided a safe place for foal turnout where positive interaction for their health and well-being took place, especially during the inclement weather. It is critical that a new structure be built for the current weanlings and the new foals that will be arriving this spring.

Meadow Brook Stables is a place that has provided so many people, horses, cows, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens and alpacas a safe and healthy learning and growing environment. Since the indoor was built in 2010, there have been 40 foals raised at Meadow Brook Stables and the indoor arena has provided a safe place for them to learn, grow, play and be exposed to people of all ages, other horses, tarps, sounds and other animals.

Meadow Brook Stables has helped myself and so many others build confidence in handling horses, horse back riding, liberty, horse health education, breeding, genetics and so much more. It is a safe place you can work off stress with chores, get exercise, enjoy fresh air, socialize, relax and reboot.

Although we hope insurance will cover some of the replacement costs there are gaps, timing issues, inflation, availability and an urgency to get a replacement structure up in time before winter. I know Meadow Brook Stables, all their clients and animals would appreciate any help you are able to provide!!!
