Meadow House Flooding

Hi, we are the Meadows! Garrett, Michelle, our one year old daughter Eliana , and our dog Donut. On Sunday July 9th, our family home was impacted by a very fast, very serious flash flood. By the time we thought to carry things upstairs, the water was already starting to come in on the ground level. Our entire first floor ended up becoming a river of rushing water within 30 minutes.

We were very lucky that some amazing first responders came to our (recently taken out by the water) backdoor in a motor boat. The four of us were able to make it out of the house unscathed physically. However, our entire first floor was not so lucky. We are slowly starting the process to rebuild our house and replace all of the items we lost. At this time, our home is unlivable and it is looking like a very long road ahead.

It is never easy to ask for help, but we are so beyond grateful for the outpour of support and love we have received in the face of this disaster.
