Meadow Laundry Assistance

Hello,
Most are unaware but a couple of months ago we purchased a Laundrymat in Dallas, TX. It’s located at Meadow & 75 and called Meadow Laundry.
It has truly been a labor of love and servitude as we work to meet the Laundry needs of those less fortunate, as well as, those who live in apartments where basic laundry facilities are severely lacking. It has been one of the most rewarding endeavors of my career and shed light on a completely different part of our society.
Our customers range in backgrounds as we are located in a diverse area. I have formed relationships with many many good people. Most hard workers wanting to offer their families a better life. I am honored to know each and every one.
Many of our customers are hourly workers and/or service workers. Painters, restaurant workers, retail workers-the list goes on and on.
When Covid-19 became a pandemic I’ve seen firsthand how this impacts the front lines of our economy. Many who have limited means have been released from work, laid off or furloughed.
Suddenly, families struggling to meet basics needs for their family such as clean laundry become difficult. It is even more heartbreaking when you see small clothes because you know kids are involved. It’s a soft spot for me as a parent.
Today marks my 35th day in a row I’ve worked in the Laundry. I’m blessed my wife Valerie makes herself available on her days off. In short-there are no days off for us. We are committed, as best we can, to bless our customers and support them. We remain open as an Essential Business in Dallas County. Even, as many close to us warn of placing ourselves at risk.
We have given out free laundry soap, dryer sheets and bleach. We have personally funded free laundry washes and dryer time. It has become overwhelming because as much as we can offer....the need is still greater.
I’ve never been involved in a gofundme page, other than to donate, so this is a first for us.
1. Im asking for your financial assistance in helping us help others with laundry assistance for those less fortunate.
2. I’m asking that you post this story on your social media accounts to help us reach those who can provide that assistance.
3. Like our Facebook page-Meadow Laundry in Dallas. We’ll post firsthand results & pictures how these funds help real people. Our page was started just a week or so ago....so thank you for helping us grow.
4. If this cause touches you, ask me how you can get involved as a team member.
Valerie and I thank you from the bottom of our heart for your consideration. Even if you find yourself unable to donate please take the time to say a prayer for customers.
Very grateful,
Jason & Valerie
