Meadowbrook Stables - Campaign for Covered Arena

Tax deductible
Dear Friends and Family,

As you probably know, I love to ride horses.  My horse Maizy lives at the historic Meadowbrook Stables in Chevy Chase, MD where I have been riding for six years. I love every minute I spend there and have learned so much. It is such a special place!

Meadowbrook opened in 1934 and makes the joy of engaging with horses available to children and youth from all walks of life through
partnerships with schools and nonprofits. It is always open to
the wider community. I often talk to visitors about riding and help little kids pet the horses.

Right now, Meadowbrook is in the final stage of a campaign to build a covered arena. The barn just got final approvals from county planning boards! Also, the barn has already raised almost all of the money needed for the project. There is only $25,000 left to raise (it sounds like a lot, but the total is $1.5 million, so it's really not as much as it sounds.) Everyone at Meadowbrook has worked so hard for two years to make this dream come true and we are so close!

This weekend is a final "Weekend of Giving" to get us across the finish line.  A covered arena is needed at Meadowbrook (most barns already have one.)  Without one, we can't ride and the horses don't get the exercise they need when the weather is too wet, icy or hot. The covered arena will fix this problem and make sure that Meadowbrook continues to teach horse lovers, take good care of horses, and offer a supportive community for years to come. Also, the plan for the covered arena is "green" and good for the environment, which makes me happy.

If you can, please join me in giving to  improve Meadowbrook Stables (Meadowbrook Foundation Inc.)  today.  Any amount will help. Thanks in advance for considering this as it means so much to me.

You can learn more about Meadowbrook and this campaign at www.meadowbrookstables.org .

Thank you again for considering this cause. Also, I hope you are doing well dealing with the pandemic.

Love,
Choe
