Meal to Heal NYC: Filipinos Feed The Frontlines
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
We watched the red dots on the maps swell. We hear the sirens rushing to help our neighbors. As of April 14, Queens is the borough with the highest number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New York City. Elmhurst Hospital is the epicenter of the crisis, a half a mile away from Woodside, Queens. There, in Little Manila, Filipino businesses—especially restaurants—have been hit hard.
This fundraiser initiative 'Meal to Heal' is a way we can mutually aid our community, especially the Filipino restaurants and the frontline healthcare workers we care about.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
The more we raise, the more we can contribute. 100% of the proceeds will go towards feeding frontline healthcare workers. No contribution is too large or too small.
Join us in our goal to raise $3600 to feed frontline healthcare workers in New York City.
• $10 - $15 donation will go towards an individual filipino meal.
• $350 funds a meal for 1 healthcare unit (20 staff) + delivery + tax + tip
• $700 funds a meal for 2 healthcare units (40 staff) + delivery + tax + tip
• $1050 funds a meal for 3 healthcare units (60 staff) + delivery + tax + tip
• $1400 funds a meal for 4 healthcare units (80 staff) + delivery + tax + tip
