Meals for Dixie Fire Evacuees

Chester's Farmstead Kitchen & Market has been honored to be able to prepare dinners for the Dixie Fire evacuees housed at the Red Cross shelter in Chester, CA working in conjunction with Mt. Lassen Community Church. -- What started as a few days of emergency meal preparation has expanded while the evacuation orders are still in effect.  - - Many people have asked if they can contribute financially so we have set up this Go Fund Me for that purpose. Donations will cover food costs and basic operating expenses, with any excess funds donated at the end of the meal time frame to the General Community Recovery Fund set up by the Plumas County Sheriff in conjunction with the Plumas Bank. Because we are not a non-profit organization we are unable to provide a tax deductible receipt. Thank you in advance, and thank God that Chester is holding firm and no new evacuations have taken place in several days!
