Many of us are looking for something to do in these unprecedented times. Support the emergency room, ICU and other hospital staff in our medical community by buying a lunch or two or seven. We will be supporting local owned food establishments - a win-win for everyone. We plan to keep this going, so please SHARE THIS LINK! Keep reading below for the details. We have raised the goal (again) as many of you have asked if we can continue this offering, so thank you to those of you who have already donated and shared the link.
We want to be sure to provide the food when it is most useful for the staff.
Currently, our plan is:
CONFIRMED: Tuesday, May 12th - Garden Catering will be providing some yummy meals of quinoa bowl; Southwest quinoa bowl topped with blackened grilled chicken; or a wrap: caesar, garden or flower power. Each meal will come with a piece of fruit. These 81 meals will be delivered to St Vincent's for their lunch crew. In addition to their yummy chicken nuggets, who knew Garden Catering had all of these delicious options! Please stop by and support them. CONFIRMED: Thursday, May 7th - Centros will be providing 81 chicken cranberry and hummus wraps, chips, pickles, cookies and bottled waters. These meals will be delivered to St Vincent's night crew in many areas of the hospital. We are trying to support as many as possible. http://centroristorante.com

CONFIRMED: Thursday, May 7th - Joan and Marc Levy of Fairfield County Wendy’s restaurants will be donating 60 salads - Apple Pecan and Southwest salads with chicken! These will again be going to the night staff at Bridgeport Hospital. We have heard that they have had few deliveries so we are trying to support them. CONFIRMED - Tuesday, April 7th - The Pantry will deliver 75 lunches to the Emergency Department and the ICU at Bridgeport Hospital - The Pantry, locally owned and supportive of the Fairfield community. Chef Dan is passionate about his work and owner, Andrew Rolleri, has been there for us for MANY years. They are offering for us to place orders online and then you can drive by (the rear) for pick up of your groceries.
