Donation protected
Update:  April 29  Station 39 happy to get the pizza today from the wonderful DiVino Pizzeria Restaurant in Howard Beach.
Big shout out to Cissy at Divino's and sending lots of love to the truly heroic EMT's and Medics at my old Station 39 in East New York.

Update:  April 26  Greetings.  Congratulations to Brooklyn for Life, Meals for Brooklyn Health Care Heroes and all the amazing groups that are feeding the workers and supporting the businesses.   Our goal now is to keep this little campaign going to provide meals and give business to the Deli's and restaurants and Stations that fall through the cracks.   As long as we keep calling the stations and they still need the meals we will keep sending them out.  Thanks so much.

Update:  April 21  Sent out pizza and salad from L&B Spumoni Gardens in Gravesend to Coney Island Station behind the hospital.    Big shout out to Franco and Said at L&B.  I love Spumoni Gardens Sicilian Pizza.  It's amazing.

Update:  April 19    Today  we will be sending out pastrami, corned beef and brisket sandwiches from David's Brisket House in BedStuy in what is becoming Station 39's regular Sunday Dinner and they love it.  Sent out 25 sandwiches from Fernando and Nya at Ave. L Deli in Canarsie on Friday.   Shout out to Fernando and Nya at Ave. L Deli and Riyadh at David's Brisket House.  Thanks so much for staying open.

Update:  April 16    Cannot thank you all enough for helping provide meals for all these amazing men and women facing God knows what on every 911 call.  The Lts. EMT's and Medic's at the stations are so grateful and I've met so many wonderful people running pizza shops and small diners and deli's in some of the hardest hit and most underserved areas of Brooklyn who are just trying to make a living in these crazy times.  Thank you for your kindness and let's keep sending them meals.

April 15th Fernando and his daughter Nya at Ave. L Deli in Canarsie made 30 sandwiches and delivered them to East New York Station.   Stay safe Fernando and family and thanks for being open.

On April 14th we sent out delicious Pizza from Divino's in Howard Beach to Station 39 East New York.  Shout out to Cissy.

Update:   Pastrami, Brisket and Corned Beef sandwiches from David's Brisket House in Bed Stuy going to Station 39 for a holiday treat for the hard working heroes out in East New York tomorrow.   Shout out to David's Brisket House at 533 Nostrand Avenue.   So happy they're open and delivering on Easter.

Update:    Thanks so much.   Just sending out 30 sandwiches from Ave. L Deli in Canarsie that the wonderful manager, Fernando,  has given us at such a bargain.   The brave men and women at Station 39 want you to know how grateful they are.   We've been sending out food everyday since the fundraiser started.

I am hoping to support local EMS medical workers by providing local meals to FDNY EMS stations.  I'm focusing on the station in East New York right now but would love to send meals to many NY EMS stations.   I sent 10 pizzas yesterday and was surprised by how grateful they were.   The local pizzeria was thrilled to get the order and I never saw an EMT or Paramedic who didn't love free food.
I know this is being done for many hospitals in the area which is wonderful but I'm afraid that the EMS Stations are being forgotten.  I used to work at that station and I can't even imagine the stress, fear and fatigue these brave men and women are enduring.
I'm going to keep sending food anyway but if you want to help me expand  please donate.
