Sutton C19 Community Kitchen - NHS & Vulnerable

A group from the local community is urgently seeking to raise funds to provide nourishing meals for our amazing NHS frontline staff and vulnerable people in the Sutton, Wallington, Epsom, Cheam and Purley areas. This huge effort is made possible by A to Z Fresh who source all the ingredients in support the cause, and the wonderful Greenshaw High School, who have allowed us to use their kitchen and especially to the School Head Chef, Luis, who has volunteered to oversee all food hygiene and health and safety.

We are delighted to have delivered hundreds of meals so far, but to continue at this level and frequency, helping NHS staff and vulnerable people locally, we need your help! NHS staff are working tirelessly to care for so many sick individuals and have little time to think about breaks and getting food. The morale boost that a hot meal can provide is priceless and shows how much the community cares and supports them during this time. Every single penny you can donate will make a difference to the number of meals we can provide and how long we are able to sustain this - so please give as generously as you can.  On 21 April 2020 it was announced that we will be working as an official partner of Volunteer Centre Sutton to reach more vulnerable individuals and families - the full press release can be seen here https://vcsutton.org.uk/inspiration/covid-19-appeal/
