Mears Family First Home

We want to thank you for taking the time to read this and keeping them in your prayers. Rachel & Josh are always giving and never taking, let alone asking for help. They would give all they have when someone is in need; for some of us, we have seen this of them. They did not ask us to set this up.

A family of five is closing on their first home. They were forced to buy since rent was doubling and there weren’t affordable rentals. Buying a new home sounds easy, but it’s not. Josh is currently working 60+ hours a week, trying to make ends meet. He's a veteran, served in the army, three deployments which resulted in PTSD but even with some additional medical issues he was denied disability. He's an American hero. Rachel is a stay home mom who works from home with a 2yr old and her other children attend a Christian school, receiving grants to pay tuition

Needs for this family buying their first home - a new roof, hot water heater, new air-conditioner, refrigerator and paint inside the whole house, plus move-in expenses. This couple wouldn’t ask because they’re too humble, so as a friend and a mom, I’m asking to help this family see how much they are loved and blessed in America. Move in date is October 14.
