Meat the Labinnac's, Short Film

Overview
Meat the Labinnac's is a dark comedy short film about a young woman, Meg, who brings her boyfriend, Bif, over to meet her family for dinner, who happen to be cannibals. From bone wind chimes to decapitated heads, this film will be full of crazy situations as we follow Bif trying to escape the Labinnac house alive.
The film covers topics of domestic violence, cannibalism, and death, and will have a trigger warning provided before the start of the film.
MTL has strong female character leads that are portrayed as the extension of the femme fatale and engage in less than socially sanctioned forms of eating and killing, whether it’s for horrific or comedic purposes. No damsels in distress can be found here.
The film will be around 10-15 minutes in length and is set to be filmed on October 25-27th.
The film will screen in May 2020.

What is needed?
To help my crew and I make this film possible, we need your help!
All contributions will go towards:
- Equipment, wardrobe, and props- the little things that will make this story come to life
- Feeding our cast and crew- long hours on set can be tough, so we'll need a healthy boost every now and then!
- Paying our actors- it takes talent and lots of time to bring characters to life, from remembering lines to stage fighting!
