Mechelle Baker Medical Bills

Hi, I’m Aubrey and I’ve never had to post a GoFundMe, I hope to never have to do it again. I am trying to raise funds for my step mother, Mechelle Baker to assist with her growing medical expenses. Unfortunately, Mechelle is in the end stages of liver disease and desperately needs a transplant; she is on the list and we are hoping for a live donor. In the mean time, she is suffering many other health complications due to her failing liver. She has been in the ICU for two weeks now; each time the doctors think they see improvement her condition takes another step back. Any type of hospital stay can be financially devastating, but being in the ICU in particular is outrageous. Any donation will be incredibly helpful.

From the moment I met Mechelle she treated me like I was her own daughter. Offering kindness, love, a welcoming home, somebody to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, and willing to provide anything I could ever need. The thing about Mechelle is that she does these things for anyone that needs it; her heart is so big. She is just 54 years old, her second chance is right in front of her, but she needs help.
