Med Students 4 Haiti

This GoFundMe provides the final fundraising we need for ten students at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to travel to Port-au-Prince, Haiti from March 26th to April 2nd for a service trip. The aim of this trip is to supplement the medical education of students at Université Quisqueya by providing courses and training in Basic Life Support, CPR, and First Aid. These courses will be taught by first- and second-year medical and graduate students who have been instructor-certified by the American Heart Association, and focuses on using materials widely available in resource-limited settings to care for patients.
