medial expenses for tosha self

Hi, we are raising money to help with medical bills and expenses as my mother Tosha suffered a major stroke on December 14th, 2023. Our dad decided not to go to work and was at home with mom when it happened so they were able to take action quick and get her in an ambulance to town and life flighted to Skyline in Nashville. When we got here they said they needed to do a surgery to remove a clot of the right side of her brain, they did the surgery but unfortunately were unsuccessful in removing it all due to it bleeding as they were trying to remove it. She was intubated and was able to be extubated the next day. She was talking and hanging out with us from friday to sunday morning. Sunday morning she had another CT scan and then was resting but resting more than she had been since we had been here, the nurse decided to call neurology and we are so glad she did because they ended up having to do a craniectomy where they removed the right half of her skull due to the swelling and pressure. After the craniectomy she was re-intubated and was able to be taken back off the ventilator the next day. She is currently in inpatient rehab in Nashville and this will be a long road. Mom is so strong willed we know that she can do this! Anything helps and we appreciate at the prayers as well! Thank you!
