Urgent Medical Aid for Earthquake Victims in Mandalay, Myanmar
My name is Aung, and I was born and raised in Mandalay, Myanmar. Although I am currently studying engineering in the UK, my heart remains with my hometown.
I have strong ties to the medical community in Mandalay, and through trusted local contacts, I am working to ensure urgent medical aid reaches those in need. While my family is safe despite our home being damaged, many others were not as fortunate. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and many victims have no access to life-saving treatment.
Why This Matters
- Hospitals are running out of essential medical supplies as the number of injured patients continues to rise.
- Many victims cannot afford private care and rely entirely on public hospitals.
- Local medical teams are doing everything they can, but without supplies, they are struggling to provide treatment.
How Funds Will Be Spent
Thanks to this GoFundMe campaign and local contributions, we have already provided:
✅ £870 worth of medical supplies to Mandalay General Hospital (MGH)
✅ £301 to 550 Bedded Children's Hospital
✅ £562 to Mandalay Orthopaedic Hospital
However, the crisis is far from over, and more support is urgently needed.
All donations will be used to:
✔ Purchase critical medical supplies (bandages, antiseptics, pain relief, antibiotics, IV fluids, and more).
✔ Ensure fast and direct delivery of aid to hospitals treating earthquake victims.
✔ Support overwhelmed public hospitals that are struggling to keep up with the crisis.
How You Can Help
Your donation will directly fund life-saving medical aid for victims of this disaster. Every contribution matters, no matter the amount.
Even if you can’t donate, please share this fundraiser—your support will help us reach more people who can help.
In moments of crisis, compassion and solidarity make all the difference. Let’s stand together for Mandalay.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
