In Memory of Hoang Ngo

Hello, my name is Hau. With profound sadness, I share the news that my cousin, Hoang Ngo, passed away after suffering from a ruptured brain aneurysm on 9/30/22 and had a few subsequent strokes in the weeks thereafter. Hoang was surrounded by family and friends at his hospital bedside when he passed away on 10/17/22.

I am fundraising for Hoang’s wife, Tanya, to help her cover the unexpected bills and expenses after the tragic loss of her soulmate.

For those of us who know Hoang, we know he was a very caring and loving person who would never talk about his own problems. He did not want his family and friends to share his burdens. Above anything else, he loved his wife Tanya and would not want her to bear the burden of his final expenses from his untimely death alone. For those of you who do not know Hoang, he’s the one behind that big smile he shares with everyone while he worked as one of the managers of New Seasons Market in San Jose since 2012. He loved to help others and to brighten their day. He is survived by his wife, his mother, and his younger sister.

His passing comes as a complete shock to us because Hoang appeared to be in terrific shape and lived a very healthy lifestyle. It is my hope that Hoang’s death will not be in vain. Let us be reminded to get regular checkups with a doctor to confirm our health. Lastly, remember to hug your loved ones a little tighter and tell them you love them, because tomorrow is never promised.
