Medical and Burial Expenses for Isabelle Herrera

We want to thank you all for your generosity at this incredibly difficult time. The financial contributions have been more than we would have ever expected. More than that the thoughts, prayers, messages, texts, call and visits reiterated to us that we were never alone. In the immediate days after Belle’s passing, William would ask us if our villagers were coming over again. The answer was repeatedly yes. Our villagers showed up in every imaginable way possible. We had donations from friends we haven’t seen in 30 years, strangers that heard our story and were empathetic to our loss, Antero Resources stepped up to ensure the goal was reached, it was an amazing outpouring of love. We can never fully thank you all, but we will try. Thank you for being a part of our village.

Our hearts are so saddened to share news of the passing of Joe and Cynthia’s beloved Isabelle Herrera. She was a healthy 12 year old little kind hearted genius. She passed very unexpectedly the morning of October 11, 2023 after Cynthia found her unresponsive while getting ready for a normal school day. She was transported by ambulance to Cook Children’s hospital where life saving measures were unsuccessful. She is already fiercely missed. This is any parents very worst nightmare. If you feel led to give to the family, please bless them with any monetary amount to help alleviate the expenses quickly piling up so they can be free of some stress to grieve the untimely loss of their daughter.
