Help for Denise Richardson (cancer related)

Hi, I started this fundraiser for my mother, Denise Richardson. She was diagnosed two months ago with colon cancer. She is currently under the care of St. Vincent, & also Dr. Meir, where she is undergoing radiation & chemotherapy. She is an extraordinary, hard-working, loving young woman and is continuing to keep her faith! She is currently unable to work due to her discomfort and pain. I can not explain enough how challenging the past couple of months have been for us, although we are not giving up hope and can use all the prayers in the world! I am truly devastated at the moment beyond words, as this was all very unexpected. She could use any help possible; she has always reached out to others and given in any way she could! She recently studied at Ivy Tech Community College and worked for many nursing homes as a CNA and at several assisted living communities throughout her career. She has been employed with Comfort Keepers & Blair Ridge for the past couple of years. She enjoys caring for others and always works hard to ensure everyone is properly cared for. I pray that, for the time being, she can rest and be as comfortable as possible; she deserves that! I do not want her to worry or stress anymore about finances as she has no income currently & only presumptive Medicaid, which does not cover all costs or all of her pain medication! I know how this stress can affect the body. We are trying several different healing methods and asking for everyone's continued prayers and support!
