Medical and future living costs

Hi, my name is Tammi Gustafson and I am raising money on behalf of a dear family friend, Carly Moberg. On Thursday, November 10th, Carly suffered a stroke while at work. After several hours of having symptoms (loss of dexterity, loss of ability to talk, right facial drooping and right sided paralysis), she was finally taken to the Emergency Room and received a clot busting drug called TPA. After receiving the medication, some of her symptoms dissolved. Carly was then transferred to St. Mary’s in Duluth where she stayed in the Neurological ICU and was recently was transferred to Inpatient Therapy at Miller Dawn. Carly has a long road ahead of her with rehabilitation. As most of you know, anything with the brain is unknown and takes a long time. Carly is a great veterinarian and at this time we are unsure of when she will be able to go back to work. This creates a bit of a hardship as medical bills, therapy bills, and daily living costs add up! At this time Carly is doing better and actively participating in Therapy.
