Medical and Home Expenses Post Birth Trauma

Hello,
My name is Ashley and I rarely ask for assistance or help unless I absolutely have to, but unfortunately I have found myself in such a situation. Those who know me know that I pride myself on being there for others and that I tend to think outside the box whenever I can to find a creative solution to a problem. This time however, I have been diagnosed with a pretty unpredictable condition that requires some close attention for the post partum period.
Recently, I have experienced an unforseen medical trauma that has landed me in the hospital twice and has the potential to do so again if not managed properly. We recently welcomed our fourth baby a little over three weeks ago, and the pregnancy brought a new complication in the form of pre eclampsia which led to pre term delivery but it has progressed to post partum eclampsia as of this week. As noted above, this condition is dangerous and requires close monitoring to avoid potentially life threatening outcomes especially during the initial six week post partum period.
For those not familiar, eclampsia is a seizure disorder that occurs during or shortly following a pregnancy. It can be life-threatening if not monitored but when properly managed has a good long-term prognosis.
The extended stay for the early delivery and readmission for the post delivery seizures has resulted in some pretty hefty medical bills. In addition, because I cannot handle things at home on my own like I normally would while Royce is at work, bills at home are beginning to pile up as well. Royce has been my saving grace by getting me prompt medical attention and staying by my side but this has meant he has missed more work than he has vacation to cover and continues to do so while I am in the critical post partum period.
While I hate to ask for help, I do believe you should be able to do so when you truly need it. Any amount you are able to give to help pay for both medical and monthly bills while Royce steps in to cover the home duties and take care of me until I am recovered would be much appreciated.
We both greatly appreciate the thoughts, prayers, and love sent our way during this time as well. Much love back to you all. ❤️
