Medical and Household Funds for Paul Hooks Jr

Hello, my name is Shelley Salter and I am raising funds for my awesome friend, whom I consider like a brother, Paul. He was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in October 2022. ESRD is characterized as a complete loss of kidney function, requiring dialysis and eventually a kidney transplant. Paul has dialysis treatments administered daily and this experience has put him through the wringer both physically and mentally. But Paul is a real trooper and has a great support system made up of his mama Sallie, his two brothers Justin and Nate, other family members and close friends. We all have faith that he will get better and better as each day passes. He is one of those genuine, salt of the earth, kind of people that everyone wants to be around. He’s never met a stranger and has such a kind and giving soul. Anyone that knows him will say the same and if they don’t, it’s because they don’t really know him.

I am using this platform to ask that if you could donate anything to help with his living expenses, travels to the doctors, etc, as he goes through this difficult process in his life.

It will be used wisely and would be much appreciated.
