Medical and Living Expenses for Heath

Donation protected
Heath Hathcock was driving from his home in Payson to work in Flagstaff early Tuesday morning November 29, 2022. He was involved in a serious car accident and sustained life-threatening injuries, including internal bleeding from multiple bowel perforations and liver lacerations and multiple broken bones. He was taken to the hospital and has required multiple surgeries over the last two days. He is in stable condition now but is in intensive care. Due to his injuries, his doctors said he will likely be in the hospital for a few weeks and faces a lengthy recovery. It looks like he will not be able to work for quite some time, as he will require physical therapy and ongoing wound care for up to six months after he is released from the hospital. He is two hours away from home and his wife and parents are staying in a hotel near the hospital. His three younger children are at home with a family friend because they are not allowed in the hospital. His oldest is a freshman in college in Utah, and will be coming home for Christmas in a few weeks.

Heath is a loving husband and father of four children. He is the primary breadwinner, putting his life on the line daily as a lineman, working on power lines. He goes into storms and dangerous areas to get peoples power back on when it goes out due to power lines being damaged. His lovely wife Kayla is a stay at home mom to their kids, ranging from 4-18 years old.

Their sweet family can use help with medical bills and household expenses as Heath is out of work and recovers from his life threatening injuries. So far, he has defied all odds, and has not only survived this terrible accident, but he is awake and talking pretty quickly after his surgeries. He is determined to make a full recovery so he can get back to his family, his job that he is passionate about, and his beloved hobby of hunting.

Their family will need to pay medical bills, purchase Christmas gifts for the children, and pay for household expenses while Heath is out of work for an extended period of time. If you feel so inclined, we would be very grateful for any donations on their behalf. Prayers are much appreciated. Much love to their family during this difficult time. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Their family is feeling the love.
